Upgrading the Agency Experience

What is Surrogacy? A gestational surrogate carries a baby not biologically related to herself in any way, for a family who for various reasons is unable to do so. This could be because they are experiencing fertility issues, medical issues which make it unsafe for them to carry, maybe they are a same-sex male couple, or a single intended parent. Whatever the reason, we are here to help deserving folks who want to build their family through this process!

At Dreamweaver, we believe surrogates should be valued and supported for the incredible work they are doing to help families grow, and we believe all qualified candidates should have equal opportunity to help assist a family. That's why we strive to help EVERY surrogacy candidate find a great match quickly, and start their journey as soon as possible. Our entire surrogacy team have been surrogates multiple times themselves, so you will be assigned a friendly and knowledgeable case manager who knows this process inside and out; she will become your mentor and guide throughout the whole process and journey.

Here at Dreamweaver, we have many wonderful intended parents looking for their perfect surrogacy match, but occasionally they may not be the right fit for you. After a certain amount of time, and with your permission, we may share your profile with one of our trusted sister agencies. By sharing your profile with our sister agencies as well as ours, we give you a huge advantage over being locked into working with one agency; instead of waiting for a match while locked into an agreement with one company, potentially for 6 months or longer, we can significantly reduce your wait time by having your profile shown to intended parents across multiple agencies at the same time. If we think that one of our sister agency's intended parents would be a good match for you, we facilitate communication between you and the sister agency, set up the match meeting, and help you through the transition from our agency to theirs. Your agreed-upon compensation will remain the same. Our sister agencies are all long-standing and highly respected companies, and we know you will be in safe and able hands, should you match with one of their families.

Of course, if you prefer to only stick with us, we will not share your profile with anyone else. This will be discussed on your intake interview!

How Much Do Surrogates Get Paid? Compensation depends on a few factors such as location and delivery history, but first-time surrogates can expect to earn $50,000-$85,000 base compensation (repeat surrogates can earn up to $85,000 base compensation depending on number of prior journeys, age, location, medical history and other factors), plus a competitive benefits package including bonuses at journey milestones, health insurance, life insurance, surrogacy-related lost wages and more. Our full compensation package will be sent to you for review upon application, and also outlines the payment timeline and milestones, so you can plan accordingly.

  SURROGATE REQUIREMENTS

​

• Age 21-44

• US Citizen or Permanent Resident (Green Card Holder)

• BMI less than 33 for USA, or 35 for those open to traveling to Canada for their embryo transfer procedure.

• At least one successful healthy pregnancy; must have given birth to at least one child that you are currently raising

• No more than FIVE prior pregnancies

• No more than THREE C-Sections 

• No more than TWO prior miscarriages

• Non-smoker, non-drug user (partner must also not use drugs, if applicable)

• No felonies on criminal record

• Ability to pass thorough psychological evaluation

• Stable home and financial situation

• MUST live in a surrogacy-friendly state (At the time of writing, we are unfortunately unable to work with candidates from Louisiana, South Dakota, New York and Nebraska).
